The project, named The Elkwood was approved by the Flagstaff Planning and Zoning Commission on July 8th and will now “explore water conservation options before they go before council”
According to the developers website, they plan to “Design it’s Elkwood apartments with preservation in mind. While seeking to protect the natural beauty, the firm plans to also give prominence to it by developing a seasonal outdoor pool, year-round spa, walking and mountain biking trails, and a dog park complete with a dog wash station. Once completed, the initial development will feature 122 multi-family units, aimed towards NAU students, medical professionals, families, and Phoenix residents seeking cooler weather.”
