The seven-member board conducts hearings and makes recommendations to the Mesa City Council on requests for changes in zoning and on required site plans. The board also considers and recommends changes in the city’s long-range plans and in the municipal code concerning planning and zoning matters, according to the city’s website.
The Springs at Eastmark development with 276 multifamily units is planned on 16.7 acres on the east side of the 4400 block of South Ellsworth Road, south side of the 9200 to 9500 blocks of East Warner Road, west side of the 4400 block of South Inspirian Parkway and north side of the 9200 to 9500 blocks of East Ripple Drive.
Erin Conway of Continental 552 Fund LLC is the applicant for a site plan. DMB Mesa Proving Grounds LLC is the owner.
